CLASSROOM POLICIES
Class Expectations: Please refer here for the classroom expectations you and your guardians reviewed at the beginning of the semester for any further classroom rules and procedures. Here is the Expectations Checklist you must return to receive passes. If you need digital access to the text book, this is an online PDF version.
Cellphones: Phones should be put away when you come into class, this also applies to headphones (they should not be used during warm-ups)
Late Work: All late work will be accepted, for 50% of original credit. This includes any work turned in during class, but after the assignment has been collected.
Makeup Work: It is the responsibility of the student to get any and all missed assignments and sign up for make-up exams and quizzes. You have 5 days to complete the work upon your return to school, any work turned in beyond this date will be considered late
Retakes: Students will be allowed to retake ONE unit test per quarter, after school, on a day previously scheduled with me. The new test grade will be the one recorded, no matter what.
SCHOOL POLICIES
Butler Honor Code: All members of this class will be expected to adhere to a strict honor code. Any student found giving or receiving assistance on any assignment will receive a zero, and will be referred to the office for disciplinary action. Honor violations include, but are not limited to, cheating on a test, sharing or copying homework/class work, and plagiarizing. Assume that all assignments are to be done individually unless told otherwise by me.
*Students signature on the syllabus will serve as their agreement to abide by the school honor code policy.
